Vision

The Sangguniang Barangay of F. Tacorda Village as a Local Government Unit shall serve as a vanguard for excellent services to its constituents. A peaceful Barangay with God-Loving and God-Fearing people living in a progressive community full of resources with an empowered inhabitant shall go forward, providing strong leadership among its member serving as catalyst for Excellence and Good Governance and shall be responsive in promoting skilled constituents based on available resources.

Mission

The Sangguniang Barangay of F. Tacorda Village views its mission as promoting Peace and Order, Livelihood opportunities, Access to Natural Resources thru Proper Utilization; promote Equality and Fairness, Provision of Basic Services as well as adherence to Public Policy be it on national and local participative leadership.

Goal

To protect and improve the lives of the unfortunate people of the Barangay.

History

In the year of 1940's, there was a small sitio with a wide land area that was part and under the administration of Barangay Hawan Grande it was called "Daguindingan". During the reigning of the former Vice-Mayor Luis Guerero, he conducted an election for what was the name of this sitio that he wanted to make as one of barangay in Virac. Then the choice names were San Antonio and Florencio A. Tacorda was elected. It was shortened to F. Tacorda Village.
In the year 1969, F. Tacorda Village became a barangay and the first Punong Barangay of F. Tacorda Village was Mariano Tacorda.
